The Psychology of Diversity with Jason Greer, MHRIR ‘03

Jason Greer, MHRIR 03, visited campus on Tuesday for SSHRM and spoke with our students about the Psychology of Diversity. We are so grateful to Jason for sharing his story and providing a safe space for students to talk about DEI efforts in HR and otherwise. ALPFA Interview Workshop and Info Session

SSHRM had the wonderful opportunity to assist the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Labor and Employment Relations in hosting an info session and interview workshop for UIUC’s Association of Latino Professionals For America Student Chapter.

During the workshop, LER students and SSHRM members volunteered their time to mentor and guide undergraduate students through the intricacies of the interview process. From crafting compelling responses to navigating tricky questions, our mentors provided invaluable support every step of the way.

Thank you to Daniel Echeverría, Hailey Drews, and Rachel Becker for the assistance in organizing the event, and thank you to all of the ALPFA members for joining us!

SSHRM Bake Sale!

Thank you to everyone who showed out for our Bake Sale on March 27th! We raised funds and ate lots of sweet treats. All donations will be going towards funding student memberships and organizing future professional development events!
